National Urban Fellows is a leadership accelerator and talent pipeline for mid-career professionals. Their mission is to develop accomplished and courageous professionals of all ethnic and racial backgrounds, particularly people of color and women, to be leaders and change agents in the public and non profit sectors, with a strong commitment to social justice and equity.
Simply stated, they want to ensure that the leaders in charge of making policy and resource decisions can better understand and represent the communities they serve.
I have had the immense honor to serve on their board of directors for the past three years and work with the amazing team of employees, board members and alumni to continue the deeply important work that NUF started over 50 years ago.
